How To Use
Wear your protective gear including safety glass, plastic hand gloves, and a protective work suit.
Thoroughly clean and dry the area you want to apply the foam
Ensure the tanks are between 75° F to 85° F, and if not, you can either allow them to cool down or warm them up. Do not use open flames or a blow torch to warm the tank. You can do so by keeping them at room temperature or bringing them close to an electric heater.
Fix your spray foam insulation kit as specified in the manual by securely connecting the hoses to the tanks. Then apply petroleum jelly on the spray gun face before attaching the nozzle. Shake the canisters for at least 3 mins.
Spray evenly on the intended surface by squeezing the trigger. Also, keep in mind that the spray foam rises in size and solidifies after a few minutes.
The application temperature should be 65° F or above the get the best yield.
It is recommended that you change the nozzle after 8 minutes of continuous spraying or if you stop spraying for about 30 seconds.
Outstanding product. Highly recommended. Easy to use.

Favorite DIY foam yet
I’ve tried a few different brands. Vega Bond sprayed well, especially on the ceiling. Some of the other brands, especially the can ones, were difficult to spray the ceiling with and took much longer because of changing all the cans. They also cured soft, where Vega Bond cured very stiff. Much more like the foam sprayed by the professionals. I am very happy with the finished product. Will buy this foam for future projects.
After several nights of research (swiping and watching videos), I decided to give the Purple Coat a shot. It did not disappoint! The final result is exactly what I was hoping for.
What surprised me most is the added structural strength it gives my shop. It’s almost like coating the building in truck bed liner—tough and durable.
The application process was simple and straightforward. Check out the attached video of my daughter using the product for the first time.

Making a camper van
I bought 2 cases of the spray foam insulation to insulate a long wheel base super high top sprinter van. After masking off the area I sprayed about 2” on the walls and ceiling and the whole job, including over the cab took only 1 case and a half. In a test area 1 inch of foam had dropped the temp about 8* and cut the noise inside way down. I’m very happy with the product and the results!

Canned insulation foam works like magic
Yep, it takes a bit getting used to and if the cans aren't 80 degrees not all of it will come out but once I got all the instructions dialed in this thing saved me hundred$$$

Great Choice!
We love the easy use of the Vega Bond spray foam cans and flexibility. Applied to a steel 20x30 office walls and ceiling. Cans were almost exactly 20bdft per can as advertised. I really liked the purple on the white steel because you can see any thin areas or spots I missed. Will definitely buy again!

Good Product
Here's a draft review for the spray foam insulation product based on your feedback:
---
I discovered during my home theater renovation that my walls had no insulation, so I decided to use this spray foam insulation to create a good seal. The product works great and really made a difference in sealing up the space. However, I realized that applying it evenly is key. I should have slowed down and taken my time with each pass to get a more uniform finish. Overall, I'm happy with how well it performs.
Keep in mind that 20 Board Feet per can at 1" thickness is 10 Board Feet at 2" thick and 5 Board Feet at 4" thick. If foaming between 16" centered studs, 3.5" thick, each can of foam will cover about 4.73 linear feet (An 8' x 8' wall 3.5" deep will require about 10 cans). Allow each layer to expand fully before applying the next layer. Cleaner instructions say to leave cleaner attached to gun, but the can will reseal if you remove it from the gun (you will get some acetone on your gloves while unscrewing the can). *Remember, the cleaner is acetone and is flamable!
