Enhance your building’s protection with our Fire Block Spray Foam, designed to delay fire spread and smoke, while improving your building envelope insulation. Benefit from up to 60% energy savings, superior air sealing, and enhanced indoor comfort. Our foam meets ASTM E84 (UL723) Class A standards, ensuring top-notch safety and performance. Test Report: RTL0745-1.
Key Benefits:
Barrier Against Fire Spread: Fire Block spray foam is designed to not only be used for insulation spray foam but also fill gaps and cracks in walls, ceilings, and floors, helping to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through penetrations in construction materials.
Comprehensive Air Seal: Expands upon application to create an airtight barrier, preventing drafts and air leakage—unlike traditional fiberglass batts or cellulose insulation which can leave gaps and allow air infiltration.
Long-Lasting Durability: Maintains its insulating properties over time, unlike fiberglass and cellulose which may sag, settle, or degrade.
Versatile Applications: Ideal for walls, attics, roofs, crawl spaces, basements, ceilings, floors, ductwork, foundation walls, metal buildings (warehouses and barns), concrete surfaces, wood framing, shipping containers, RVs, vans, specialty vehicles, and cold storage (walk-in freezers and refrigerators).
✅ Coverage: Each canister covers an impressive 20 board feet, thanks to the improved formula, making it an efficient and cost-effective choice for your insulation needs.
✅ Versatile Application: Ideal for various surfaces, including roofs, facades, attics, ceilings, foundations, and more. Its unique self-expanding property ensures coverage even on uneven and hard-to-reach surfaces.
✅ Thermal Performance: With an R-value of 5.66 per inch and a thermal insulation value of 0.025 W/(m. K), Vega Bond provides exceptional insulation, preventing thermal bridging (heat bypass) and ensuring a comfortable environment.
✅ Airtight Seal: The unique formula creates an airtight seal on various building materials like wood, brick, stone, concrete, metal, drywall, glass, MDF, OSB, and more.
✅Applicator Innovation: The new applicator gun features a swivel tip, allowing a 30-degree spray angle for easy application to any surface. Two types of nozzles – orange for ceilings and roofs, and red for vertical applications – enhance precision.
✅ Professional-Grade: Vega Bond is a professional-grade insulation foam, making overhead and crawl space applications a breeze. Its versatility extends to automobile bodies, trailers, RVs, sheds, boats, yachts, kayaks, and vessels.
We using this product to insulate our geodesic dôme, and we’re very pleased with the results. The company has great service and the product is and does what it’s intended to do. I will recommend this product to others

Great product, but questionable coverage
I used your product to insulate the underside of my 4 seasons room. i decided to use this instead of foam sheets. My only complaint is the amount of coverage advertised. Maybe the product would be closer to the advertised coverage if it is not an overhead application.

Cans had no pressure out of box
I tried 4 cans and none of them had any pressure. Foam just dribbled out of gun. Would love to have another box to try again.

I'm getting there.
Fire block spray foam is what it says it is. The project is going well and application is straight forward. I am obviously using more product than I first calculated. Overall quality product.

Worth it!!
After several nights of research (swiping and watching videos), I decided to give the Purple Coat a shot. It did not disappoint! The final result is exactly what I was hoping for.
What surprised me most is the added structural strength it gives my shop. It’s almost like coating the building in truck bed liner—tough and durable.
The application process was simple and straightforward. Check out the attached video of my daughter using the product for the first time.

Making a camper van
I bought 2 cases of the spray foam insulation to insulate a long wheel base super high top sprinter van. After masking off the area I sprayed about 2” on the walls and ceiling and the whole job, including over the cab took only 1 case and a half. In a test area 1 inch of foam had dropped the temp about 8* and cut the noise inside way down. I’m very happy with the product and the results!

Canned insulation foam works like magic
Yep, it takes a bit getting used to and if the cans aren't 80 degrees not all of it will come out but once I got all the instructions dialed in this thing saved me hundred$$$

Great Choice!
We love the easy use of the Vega Bond spray foam cans and flexibility. Applied to a steel 20x30 office walls and ceiling. Cans were almost exactly 20bdft per can as advertised. I really liked the purple on the white steel because you can see any thin areas or spots I missed. Will definitely buy again!

Good Product
Here's a draft review for the spray foam insulation product based on your feedback:
---
I discovered during my home theater renovation that my walls had no insulation, so I decided to use this spray foam insulation to create a good seal. The product works great and really made a difference in sealing up the space. However, I realized that applying it evenly is key. I should have slowed down and taken my time with each pass to get a more uniform finish. Overall, I'm happy with how well it performs.
Keep in mind that 20 Board Feet per can at 1" thickness is 10 Board Feet at 2" thick and 5 Board Feet at 4" thick. If foaming between 16" centered studs, 3.5" thick, each can of foam will cover about 4.73 linear feet (An 8' x 8' wall 3.5" deep will require about 10 cans). Allow each layer to expand fully before applying the next layer. Cleaner instructions say to leave cleaner attached to gun, but the can will reseal if you remove it from the gun (you will get some acetone on your gloves while unscrewing the can). *Remember, the cleaner is acetone and is flamable!
